Why Veluda Began

Our founder kept hearing people ask for the Brazilian towels they remembered. Veluda began with a simple idea: bring that feeling back into everyday homes. We’re here to make the moment after a shower feel a little more comforting—with towels chosen for real life, not just for a label.

Brazilian Cotton, Made for Everyday

Our 100% cotton towels are made with carefully selected Brazilian cotton and a zero-twist construction for a soft feel and effective absorbency. They’re designed for everyday use and lasting quality. Each towel is washed and dried at the factory before it ships to help prevent shrinkage—so you can enjoy that just-wrapped-up feeling, wash after wash.

What Our Customers Say

I bought this towel for my little one and I'm so happy with it. It's incredibly soft, gentle on my baby's skin, and much more absorbent than the other hooded towels we've tried. I love that it wraps completely around my toddler after bath time, keeping them warm while drying quickly. The quality is excellent, and it still feels just as soft after several washes. Definitely one of my favorite baby purchases!
